JR Dain Transmission Repairs

“Genuinely outstanding service! My mx5's 6 speed was jumping out of 3rd which turned out to be a common issue owing to nylon bushings on the selector fork assembly. While in there, JR Dain fitted a new clutch I bought, a new top selector plate, and an uprated 3rd-4th selector fork. The latter part was the erong size but they even waited while I ordered the right one (luckily arrived in a couple days). I saw the workshop and they had stripped and cleaned the gearbox, inspected it, reassembled it snd its tight as a drum again now! 5 star service through and through - couldn't be happier!”

“Amazing! Took my car here for the first time with a knackered gearbox. They gave me the number of a recovery truck and kept me informed every step of the way. They helped me to find a new replacement gearbox and obviously fitted it too. I couldn't rate them any higher!”

“Excellent garage for gearbox/clutch work. I took my Japanese imported car here and they had no problem doing my gearbox rebuild. This was a drive in, drive out service. They have upfront and fair pricing and a quick turnaround for the work done. Included in the price was an inspection of other related parts to see if anything was urgent or may need to be replaced soon. Highly recommend this garage and I know exactly where I’ll be going for any future gearbox related work.”
