“Had the Thursday special - £10 beer and pizza - great value but the pizza was a bit doughy. Apparently the chef was off, so I'll give it another go. Fantastic venue on a sunny day. Bouncer a bit officious but other staff very friendly.”

“Delicious wood-fired pizza in a magical secret garden setting. We were spoilt for choice with the food and drinks menu and the ingredients were fresh and locally inspired. Relaxed, family-friendly atmosphere and the staff were helpful in finding us a table in the shade. Will definitely be back. A gem in the heart of Norwich!”

Cinema City Bar
Cinema City occupies Suckling House, the 16th-century home of Robert Suckling, Mayor, Sheriff and Burgess. The oldest surviving parts of the building date from the early 14th century. After falling into disrepair Suckling House was bought by Ethel Mary and Helen Caroline Colman in 1923. They restored it and added Stuart Hall, intended as a public space and equipped with a cinema projector and screen.
The Cinema City Bar & Restaurant is situated within the beautiful 17th-century Suckling House, featuring vaulted ceilings, stone arches and antique panelled rooms. They also encompass the Sir John Hurt Centre function rooms, which are full of reminders of the city’s rich cinema history.
