What people say

5 out of 5 stars

“Great beers, bar billiards, all set in a traditional wood lined pub. What's not to like? They've always got something interesting on tap as well, and the staff are lovely. 10 years later after moving out of Norwich I revisited. Still so excellent, a brilliant pub!”

“Went there as part of local community theatre group The Common Lot - a bunch of 20 or so people, just to sing some favourite songs from our shows - and we made a good lot of noise! Think most of the regulars enjoyed it! Didn't have any food, enjoyed a non-alcoholic lager.”

The Ribs of Beef Pub
A friendly city centre riverside local, with a warm welcome, and great service. A big selection of cask and draught beers and ciders, with 12 keg lines and up to 11 cask lines pouring at any time, as well as a large selection of wines, spirits, bottles and cans. The kitchen is tiny so we do one thing but do it well, with food provided by La Repubblica Della Pizza, a Pizza residency, cooking delicious stone backed Pizzas. Enjoy the views over the river and catch the afternoon sun on the jetty or our Secret Garden, or sit inside in one of the pub’s warm and cozy spaces. The Ribs of Beef is great for traditional pub lovers and craft beer enthusiasts. We have regular live sports and live music, so check out Facebook events for details.
