“We visited Makers House for the first time Saturday evening. Admittedly, struggled to decide what to order and ended up ordering too much without realising it. We even asked our server, "Is this too much food for our table?" and she said no. However, our table was tiny, so she either could have advised us that it was too much or asked if we wanted the appetisers first followed by the sharing boards. ​We had no idea they would bring every single plate to the table at once! This made us feel completely rushed, we had to eat quickly just to make space and were constantly shuffling food onto different plates. It was a stressful experience that could have been handled much better, and it really ruined the evening. On top of that, the food wasn't particularly great; it was okay, but for the prices they charge, I expected much better. The Octopus was very chewy, the fish board was overall bland and we did not like the mushroom croquettes.”
