“Wow what a fantastic experience staying at this hotel was!! I was with a group of Ramblers from Kent (36 of us in total) staying from Sunday and leaving on following Friday last month. All the staff were brilliant during our stay - the rooms were comfortable, always clean and tidy. They genuinely made us all feel welcome. The food (breakfast and dinner) was absolutely brilliant with a variety always on the menu. I can’t recommend this hotel enough and would definitely go back there again. A special mention for Lauren who was always helpful and made us all feel welcome. You did an amazing job looking after our walking party!!! Well done all!”

“This was my third stay at The George Hotel in Norwich, and after trying a few others, I think that The George is the best value hotel in Norwich. Checkin is quick and easy and the staff very helpful and polite. The room, including the bathroom, was very clean, and the bed was extremely comfortable. They have a good breakfast menu with several gluten-free options and a vegan full breakfast. The location is very good, being only a short walk to the city, and on the main road if coming from the south or west as most will be.”
