What people say

“I had The Glitch on my radar as a bar to check out when I got the chance after it opened. However unfortunately I left feeling confused at what the place is trying to be and didn't find it particularly memorable or doing anything that stands out in a good way I'll list the positives first. I do echo previous reviews that the drinks are reasonably priced and the staff are friendly. No faults with drink prices and customer service Now the negatives. I found the choice of beer on tap disappointing with only two options and both very commercial choices. I feel the choice on tap could be more varied or if you have only two or three options. Choices that are more unique and of a higher quality. A local pilsner perhaps? Just thinking compared to its rivals that offer these varied choices and higher quality choices Secondly I'm not sure what The Glitch is trying to be. To me the name and branding suggests a gaming bar or a bar with Interactives and things to do but there wasn't really anything of anything going on. Plus for a Saturday night it was noticeably quiet. The lack of a clear identity perhaps explains how quiet it was Thirdly the music kept being chopped and changed when I was there which was annoying. Songs would be changed quite often every 30 seconds or so Finally I noticed in there the use of flyers generated with AI. Would expect an independent business to do better than use AI for their promotional material. It's so obvious when a flyer/poster is made with AI. It just makes me switch off and not take in To sum up whilst I don't have anything negative to say with the prices and staff service. Unfortunately I have a number of negatives elsewhere and nothing about my experience was memorable in a way that would make me want to return as it stands”
