“I chose Toni and Guy as was looking to get my hair dyed for the first time (played around with AI for ideas, as is now modern custom :D). Pearl really took the time to run through every step and what to expect (I'm a complete and utter layman to it all). This really put me at ease, as was nervous about getting it done in the first place. I'm insanely happy with the results. Initially went beige blonde from my natural dark brown and second time around, went to ash blonde. Pearl and team are so friendly and welcoming, they made everything effortless. Highly recommend this branch!”

“I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Toni & Guy. This was my first visit to the salon, and I chose them because of their reputation, expecting a high standard of service. Unfortunately, the experience fell well below my expectations from start to finish. When I arrived, I discovered the salon had been temporarily moved upstairs due to renovations. There was no mention of this on the website or in my appointment confirmation. I have mobility issues, and although I managed the stairs, it was extremely difficult and would have appreciated being informed beforehand. Throughout my appointment, there was very little communication from my stylist. After my highlights were applied, I was told they would be checked after around 30 minutes. Instead, my stylist began working on another client, and my foils weren’t checked for around an hour. I genuinely felt forgotten about while my hair was processing. When the appointment was finished, I wasn’t shown the back of my hair with a mirror, so I didn’t realise the extent of the issues until I got home. On closer inspection, the highlights were uneven and patchy, with areas that had not lifted or blended properly. It was not the result I expected, especially considering the price I paid. I contacted the salon directly before leaving this review. Although I was invited back for an assessment, I explained that, after my experience, I had lost confidence in returning to the same salon. I no longer felt comfortable putting my trust in them to correct my hair and requested an alternative resolution. Unfortunately, my concerns were not resolved. This wasn’t just about the end result—it was about the lack of communication, the feeling of being overlooked during my appointment, and the disappointment of leaving a salon feeling worse than when I arrived. I had been looking forward to my first visit to Toni & Guy, so it’s incredibly upsetting that it turned out to be such a negative experience. Sadly, I won’t be returning, and I cannot recommend this salon based on my experience.”
