“I had only one appointment ( not with a GP only a male nurse so far) but I tried to get a GP appointment for something important, everytime I call at 8am on time in the morning to try to get a GP appointment I wait up to 30 min on the phone,once someone picks up the system hangs me up automatically sometimes and when I get to talk to a receptionist finally on the phone they say all GP appointments are placed all ready for the day how can this be?! Especially because when I had my appointment with a nurse that one time the waiting room was empty ! Noone except me was waiting, something is very off to me in the system if waiting exact 8 o clock In line on time to reach someone on the phone and still you are told there are no GP appointments free 🤔 coming from Germany where you can always talk to a real doctor on the same day in a practice something is heavily wrong in the NHS here ,how can I get a real appointment with a real doctor 🏥 and how to avoid the automatic system to reach a receptionist,are there no ways to walk into the GP practice to ask for an appointment for the next week?! I'm very disappointed ,I'd need to do regular blood tests as well can't even think of that simple thing which is no problem in Germany at all ,but here I can't even get an appointment with the GP to request a yearly blood check ✔️ ( if I'm lucky to get through in the morning by phone)”
