“Very pleasant stay and excellent staff, with a few small details to improve. We stayed at The Rosebery Room for a few days in August and our overall impression is definitely positive! Pros: - Staff & Communication: Really great service. The staff were always helpful and communication was very smooth and easy throughout. - Room Amenities: We greatly appreciated the setup for a mini-breakfast in the room, well-stocked with a kettle, tea, coffee, and snacks. The mini-fridge, iron, and ironing board were also extremely useful and practical. - Location & Atmosphere: The property is not in the city centre (which we were fully aware of), and this allowed us to get a great night's sleep. The area is well-serviced, with several pubs nearby and a very convenient Tesco supermarket. Having the pub right below the room wasn't an issue: apart from one evening where people stayed a bit past closing time talking and drinking, it was otherwise very quiet. Areas for Improvement: - Bed & Layout: The room is a good size. We knew there would be carpet (which we aren't huge fans of as it doesn't give us that completely clean feeling). Being on the taller side, the double bed felt a bit small and slightly uncomfortable at times. We would have preferred having one less armchair or table to make room for a larger bed. - Cleanliness: This is the main area where there is room for improvement. Upon arrival, we noticed quite a bit of dust accumulated in various spots, and the bathroom (though small and functional) could have been cleaned better. Overall, it was a great base for our trip to Norwich. Recommended!”
