“Bought a cuppa tea from Reggies today and the woman charged me £1- clearly displayed on the board at 70p. When I questioned this, she said that she had to put the prices up. Not impressed, I asked if the same applies to every other item on the menu and she slammed the 30p on the counter as if I was in the wrong for complaining. I always thought that you altered the prices first beforehand 🤔. I'd be interested if other customers experienced similar service and how they reacted. I couldn't believe it, what a way to run a business! Shame because I've been a customer for 40 years when visiting the city. I shall take my custom elsewhere as plenty more stalls to choose from.”
