About

Norwich Camping and Caravanning Club Site is a secluded riverside campsite on the outskirts of Norwich. It’s just as easy to immerse yourself in nature and the Norfolk Broads from this site as it is to enjoy city life. You’ll be camping just a 40-minute walk, or short bus ride from the city where you’ll find quaint shopping streets, ancient churches, and imposing castles to investigate at your own pace. Those looking to explore away from the city can enjoy a countryside walk nearby, including one at Whitlingham Country Park. If you can travel a little further, it’s around a twenty-minute drive to reach the Norfolk Broads. Norwich Club Site offers facilities to help you enjoy your stay including an on-site shop and designated dog walk.

What people say

4 out of 5 stars

“We were won over straight away by the welcome, very jovial and a bit of banter. Walking access to Norwich and the local supermarket was excellent. The facilities might have been a little tired but very clean. Booked for 2 days and stayed 4. There are two walks to the City, one of which takes you to the arts district.”

“About a 40-50 minute walk to the city centre from this campsite. Nearest pub is about a 15-minute walk. This place is quite small and snug but in a nice way. We went on a regular electric pitch with a 5-man tent and one car and there was plenty of room for that. Two showers in the men’s WC one of which is ‘accessible friendly’. Staff are extremely friendly and talkative. The place is very peaceful apart from the train line. If you’re a heavy sleeper like me (and also a mild fan of trains) then it’s no problem, and there are pitches further away from the tracks, although during busy periods you might not get to choose your pitch like we did. Facilities are very clean but a bit old. Road accessibility is fine and convenient.”
