“Cool looking pub and the beer was great (super to see a zero/low alc. Option on tap!). Food was a bit of a disaster, we waited 1 whole hour for a pizza to arrive for one of our party, way later than everyone else's. We checked with staff as we saw several people arrive, get their orders (slices and full pizzas) eat and leave. Mentioned to staff and they were fairly dismissive which wasn't great. When the pepperoni pizza did show up, it was salty to the point of being inedible which was a shame.”

More Bars & Breweries in Norwich

St Andrews Brew House Pub
Here at St Andrews Brew House there are three things we are truly passionate about: Great beer, great food and great service! A real gem among all the restaurants and pubs in Norwich, we are home to our very own micro-brewery, bar and restaurant as well as some great weekly events. Being in the heart of Norwich means our ground floor bar and restaurant are the perfect place for watching the world go by with a beer or two. Alternatively, you can venture up to the first floor, where our function rooms are filled with classic board games and are a great vantage point for keeping an eye on our brewery and our next batch of Brew House beer.
The Rumsey Wells Pub
This wood-panelled boozer with leather sofas, serving real ales and a creative pie menu.
Butcher Bhoy Pub
Welcome to Butcher Bhoy, Norwich’s modern Dublin-inspired Irish pub. Enjoy exceptional Guinness, Irish street food, live sport, live music and premium cocktails all under one roof. Open 7 days a week! Catch every major sporting fixture on our big screens and projector, including football, rugby, boxing, golf, F1 and UFC. Located at 1 Queen Street, Butcher Bhoy brings the best of modern Dublin to Norwich.
Belgian Monk Pub
The Belgian Monk opened in December 2000. The main objective was to create something different yet to fit in with the way drinking and dining is changing. It has become a successful and established bar and restaurant, offering customers a choice of a regular selection of some 45 beers together with a selection of special beers. The menu is based on serving only the best products available freshly prepared daily, at realistic prices, in an informal relaxed "friends and family" atmosphere. It provides more than just the meal or drink but a whole Belgian experience. Now owned and run by Wursty Four Biers Ltd the new owners hope to take this fantastic venue to new heights and enhance the service style and offer. Sincerely not to be missed!
The Glass House Pub
The pub is open for breakfast until 12 noon and offers free refills (all day every day) on tea and Lavazza coffee. For lunch and dinner, there are lighter bites, with deli deal options and vegetarian choices, gourmet burgers and freshly made pizzas. Wetherspoon has championed a wide range of drinks, including real ales, craft beers, gins and soft drinks. Table service is available via the Wetherspoon app, using our unlimited free Wi-Fi. This pub has step-free access.
Louis Marchesi Pub
A pub on Tombland in Norwich.
The Ribs of Beef Pub
A friendly city centre riverside local, with a warm welcome, and great service. A big selection of cask and draught beers and ciders, with 12 keg lines and up to 11 cask lines pouring at any time, as well as a large selection of wines, spirits, bottles and cans. The kitchen is tiny so we do one thing but do it well, with food provided by La Repubblica Della Pizza, a Pizza residency, cooking delicious stone backed Pizzas. Enjoy the views over the river and catch the afternoon sun on the jetty or our Secret Garden, or sit inside in one of the pub’s warm and cozy spaces. The Ribs of Beef is great for traditional pub lovers and craft beer enthusiasts. We have regular live sports and live music, so check out Facebook events for details.
The Edith Cavell Pub
A Historic Tombland pub named after a war heroine, offering a classic pub experience. Just an arms length away from the Norwich Cathedral🍻 Upstairs is our amazing meat on the bone restaurant…. ‘CHOP’🥩
