What people say
5 out of 5 stars
“Always love the atmosphere here. Had some drinks on the roof and then headed down to have some food. I haven’t been here for ages so I was interested in what the food was like now. Of course I had a burger which was really good. Loads of fries too. Lovely service and comfy atmosphere”

Cinema City Bar
Cinema City occupies Suckling House, the 16th-century home of Robert Suckling, Mayor, Sheriff and Burgess. The oldest surviving parts of the building date from the early 14th century. After falling into disrepair Suckling House was bought by Ethel Mary and Helen Caroline Colman in 1923. They restored it and added Stuart Hall, intended as a public space and equipped with a cinema projector and screen.
The Cinema City Bar & Restaurant is situated within the beautiful 17th-century Suckling House, featuring vaulted ceilings, stone arches and antique panelled rooms. They also encompass the Sir John Hurt Centre function rooms, which are full of reminders of the city’s rich cinema history.

Bier Draak 🍺 Bar
It’s a pleasure to announce the long-awaited second premises in Norwich from Sir Toby’s Beers. After new ventures in Lowestoft with The Stanford Arms in 2021 and East Point Pavilion in 2022, business partners Toby Westgarth and Dominic Burke are delighted to announce their new bar on King Street in Norwich. They plan on opening its doors in December this year.
The building, formerly known as 42 King Street, will become a Continental Beer Bar offering German and Belgian beers alongside a selection of cold meats and cheeses. Work is underway to install 14 draught beer lines and will keep a well stocked cellar of unique Belgian and German bottled beers, including Abbey and Trappist Beers.
