What people say
3 out of 5 stars
“Came here as it opened for a meal. Sadly they have seriously downgraded their meal options from what I saw online. Now the only meal they do is a cheese burger and chips. The chips were rock hard and the burger was too. They also put seeds on the bun when I have a SEED ALLERGY! leaving me to scrape them all off. Worth noting they did not ask if I had any allergies at all when I ordered. The meal was cheap through I'll give it that. Will not be returning. Who ever heard of a pub that only does 1 meal. SMH”

Gardeners Arms Pub

The Murderers Pub
Dating back to at least 1696, this is one of Norwich's oldest pubs, on the historic TimberHill.
Being able to trace the landlords back to 1841, with the premises trading as the Gardeners Arms, the pub got it's gruesome nickname of 'The Murderers' after events of 1895, when the landladies daughter 'Millie' was murdererd by her estranged husband Frank Miles, after he'd seen his wife walk into the pub, the evening before her death, with another man....Frank flew into a rage, and the next day, attacked Millie with a hammer.
Frank was tried and convicted of murder, but pleaded he had been provoked, which appeared to have worked as his death sentence was commuted to life in prison...... and giving the pub the gruesome nick of 'The Murderers'
The Garnet Pub
Dog-friendly pub with a late license, serving small grazing plates and weekly-changing guest beers.
