Lamb Inn Pub
A traditional pub over two floors that is anything but traditional. The Lamb Inn is the second oldest pub within the city centre (haunted by at least three ghosts). Gardeners Arms Pub
A pub on Timber Hill in Norwich.
The Murderers Pub
Dating back to at least 1696, this is one of Norwich's oldest pubs, on the historic TimberHill. Being able to trace the landlords back to 1841, with the premises trading as the Gardeners Arms, the pub got it's gruesome nickname of 'The Murderers' after events of 1895, when the landladies daughter 'Millie' was murdererd by her estranged husband Frank Miles, after he'd seen his wife walk into the pub, the evening before her death, with another man....Frank flew into a rage, and the next day, attacked Millie with a hammer. Frank was tried and convicted of murder, but pleaded he had been provoked, which appeared to have worked as his death sentence was commuted to life in prison...... and giving the pub the gruesome nick of 'The Murderers'
The Coach & Horses Pub
Relaxed pub serving bar bites, hearty meals and local ales in a classic atmosphere.
The Garnet Pub
Dog-friendly pub with a late license, serving small grazing plates and weekly-changing guest beers.
