🦁 About The Aslan The Aslan was created to bring something different to Norwich. While many venues became loud, repetitive, and dominated by scenes that made ordinary people uncomfortable, we set out to create a stylish, safe, and welcoming space where respect is at the heart of everything. Built against the odds — with limited resources, years of obstruction, and much of the venue shaped by hand — The Aslan came to life with the support of friends, family, council officers, the EDP, and a wide section of the public. Today, it is more than just a café-bar: it is a place for quality food, drinks, and community, where all generations can enjoy themselves together in comfort, elegance, and good energy.

“My partner and I absolutely love this place! ❤️ We’ve been a few times now, and every visit is just as special as the last. The atmosphere is relaxed, welcoming and has such a lovely feel to it. Zafer is the most welcoming and attentive owner, and he really goes above and beyond to make every visit special. He even creates cocktails that aren’t on the menu, which makes each visit feel a little more personal and unique. 🍸 His warmth and genuine care for his customers make you feel like you’re not just a customer, but part of the Aslan family. ❤️ That’s what makes this place so special. “Aslan Lounge is a fantastic spot to visit. If you want a quiet place to unwind, the upstairs area is ideal. Prefer a lively vibe? The downstairs lounge offers great ambient music and views of the busy city center, with large open windows that fill the space with a bright, warm feel. The drinks are served with care and enthusiasm, and you can always count on friendly, professional service. The food is delicious made with love by the owner himself and designer of this wonderful space right in the heart of Norwich.”
