“I suffer from chronic stress and muscle tension as well as the physical effects of a back injury. I had my first session with Helena yesterday and I walked out already knowing there's no question I will be going back. Immediately after the session I was already moving much more freely. Today, I'm sore, as is normal after deep tissue work but my body feels looser and just 'happier' in a way I can't really put into words. I know I'm going to feel fantastic tomorrow, once my muscles have calmed down from the intervention, (they're a bit miffed with me at the moment 🤣). Helena was attentive and took a thorough history and asked what I wanted to achieve. She listened and clearly took in what I told her. She made some suggestions during the session and asked permission to try other techniques, all of which were helpful. She's friendly and approachable as well as extremely knowledgeable, and was constantly checking in and responding to feedback supplied. The results speak for themselves and I truly believe she has magical hands (and elbows!). I slept better than I have in a long time. I just wish I could afford to go every week.”
