“LAIRS. Cancelled our prepaid booking for a busy jubilee weekend with less than a week’s notice, refused to help with rebooking and were rude, dismissive and self involved about supposed reasons for cancelling all bookings. In the reply below the owners are claiming that they offered us alternative accommodation. This is an outright lie. They in fact initially offered to find alternate accommodation and then told us they were ‘very busy’ and to do it through booking.com. Between the proprietors and Booking.com I spent well over 3 hours trying to organise alternatives, a process which was significantly slowed by the owners changing their minds about being able to help and consistently telling me I needed to be more understanding about their situation. After being condescended to multiple times I was rude in return. Don’t stay with these people unless you want deal with people who put their personal issues above things which they have financially committed to as a business. The reply below legally consititutes slander and I am currently taking advice from a solicitor.”

“Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent communication about the arrival process makes the whole thing effortless. All of this and the world's greatest pub (The Fat Cat) is just a short stroll away. Would come back”
