“We've been on a bit of a coffee hunt recently, and Grounded has become our go-to. The coffee is excellent, both in the café and the beans we've taken home – we've finally found our favourite. It's the little thoughtful touches that stand out too, like the resealable coffee bags with a built-in pouring funnel. You can tell Charlie has put a lot of care into every detail. What really makes Grounded special, though, is the atmosphere. It's such a warm, friendly place that instantly feels welcoming, whether you're catching up with friends or chatting with the locals. It really has become a wonderful hub for community.”

“The barista was very kind, it has a quaint atmosphere, and the air conditioning is a big plus. However, I paid £4.70 for about 200 mL of coffee, which feels like daylight robbery unless it was roasted by monks and brewed with holy water - personally I wouldn't go back based on the price alone. Unfortunately, the drink itself was quite watery and had a sharp, acrid flavor. I ordered oat milk - which I know can be tricky to heat properly - but it seemed like it had been scalded, leaving it with a strange, burnt taste. Or, perhaps the shot could've been over-extracted but something was definitely wrong - it was a tough drink. If you don't mind the cost and just want a nice, cool coffee shop to sit in while you work, the space itself is great. I'll give them the benefit of the doubt and say that my coffee was a one-off.”
