“This wasn't food - it was a masterclass in flavour and quality. Every part of the meal was excellent, from the location and the service to the food and drinks. I was ordering from the Rosette Experience menu and chose a prosecco to start, the duck with the paired wine, the muscovado apple dessert and an espresso to bring me back to reality. My prosecco was crisp and clean and the complimentary amuse bouche of crab toast and bread was delicious. The duck was perfectly cooked and the vegetables were fresh and well prepared. The wine pairing was deep enough to give the duck even more flavour. The dessert was beautifully presented and the deep muscovado and zingy apple balanced each other well. I ended with an espresso which was just on the right side of bitterness and prepared me for my evening walk. The team gave me good time to decide, checked in regularly and answered questions well. Everything was timed well, with good pacing of the food throughout. It was a great meal and with the FirstTable discount, even better! Highly recommended.”
